Can Baby's Breath flowers be grown indoors?

Can I plant this flower indoors on a planter? Or does it have to grown on a large area. I've seen pictures and it does spread, but can I just plant a couple seeds? Or what other white flower can I plant indoors???How deep i'm I supposed to put the seeds, how many and how far apart? I tried planting mixed flower seed and they began to grow within 2 days but now theyre just very thin and they are not standing up they dropped on the soil (no flowers yet) Planting is just not my thing!!!
