What type of flowers would look best for a corsage if my date is wearing a off-white dress?

What type of flowers would look best for a corsage if my date is wearing a off-white dress?
The type of flower is more personal preference (though roses are probably the classic). Color-wise, stick to warm colors such as yellow, pink, or red. Avoid white as the odd contrast would not compliment the dress. Also, the florist will probably ask you what color ribbon to use--if her dress does not have any color than off-white, you're safe choosing the color of the flower, and then let the florist choose a complementary ribbon. Have fun at the dance!
Reply:an orchid.. always looks nice on anything... there this one which is white w/ purple/pinkish color... its beautiful
Reply:hi there off white is a bit darker just a bit on the wall it looks almost white as in paint same as on fabric. colors I would to stand out on the dress: RED, PURPLE, PINK, NOT A LIGHT COLOR SINCE THE DRESS IS ALREADY A LIGHT COLOR. NOT WHITE REMEMBER THE DRESS IS OFF WHITE .RED ROSES OR RED CARNATIONS. BEST OF LUCK BE WELL BE SAFE
Reply:an off-white-coloured flower. either ask the girl what her fave flower is or ask a florist what off-white means.
Reply:orchids are gorgeous!!!!
Reply:the flowers should complement the color theme of your suit, ie, if you're wearing a navy blue suit with a light blue shirt, get a corsage with a bluish tint to it. if you're wearing some other color shirt, get the complementary color to that tone. if you're wearing a brownish suit, then earth tones are a good complement to it, like peach or orange or yellow. it all depends on your colors, since her color is one of an absolutely neutral tone. if all else fails, ask her what her favorite color is and get that color corsage. hope this helped you!!
Reply:yellow or white.

light pink is kinda "not straight"
Reply:Purple Lilies
Reply:orchid is the best for this kinda thing. But to add extra browie points, follow some previous people's advice and try to find out what her favorite flower is and get it in an off white color
Reply:I would go with yellow or pink. Or better yet, ask the florist.
Reply:I think cornflower blue would look pretty.
Reply:any light coloured corsage will do. there are many different kinds of off-white colours... (funny becuase white isn't even a colour (its a shade)) but usually looks good with any light colours. i.e. the colours you just mentioned.
Reply:Red Carnations are quite nice other than that im not really a flower person.
Reply:blue for a boy
Reply:off white is creamy

white sweetheart roses with baby's breath

wrist corsage

either do ribbon in irridencent or gold or silver ( ask her what color her jewelry is)

I suggested white because your boutineer should be the same flower

it makes for nice pictures
Reply:Seeing how a corsage is for a girl... I think that a light pink would go wonderfully with an off-white colored dress.
Reply:I would choose red or lilac. roses, lavender, all kinds...
Reply:Oh my, definately tulips: to go with cream i would go for something almost orangey! It will make her glow and look really summary and would really add a splash of colour!

This is the kinda colour and flower i mean: http://z.about.com/d/pittsburgh/1/7/T/9/...
Reply:Roses are the most romantic flowers out there and they always send a strong messege to your date.
Reply:maybe........roses?
Reply:I would recommend pale pink with a slightly orange undertone. (As opposed to a blue undertone. If you need some help with this, I'd be happy to give it to you. I know colour.)
Reply:A light color or pale color. How sweet your worried about how it would look with her dress. :P :D

Those colors are a little different and I think she would be pleased if you gave her something other then white flowers or roses. ;)
Reply:Ask the florist, thay will know best, but my opinion is to get her light pink roses, it will look beautiful with an off-white dress.
