I went to the Bridal shop and found my dream dress...the dress is Champagne. I loved it and had to get it! We're getting married in the snow and our color is a sapphire blue. I have no idea on flowers for the wedding, I don't want to make my dress look dingy with white flowers and the wedding is only 5 months away! What colors, what type...HELP Please!
Please help with my wedding flowers!?
I would use a champagne color with the blue. Or if you didn't want to use blue at all you could use a ornage rust color: Below is a website of some orange flowers:

And actually you could use white it would really stand out against a champagne dress.
Take a look:

Reply:I got married in January and My flowers were white Fuji mums and white roses.they had some fill in there too greens and other creamy colored flowers. the girls carried white Fuji mums and red roses. their dresses were sapphire blue velvet. My dress was white but the Fuji mums are not pure white they almost look a little champagne or creamy. It was beautiful. You could always use just the Cream colored flowers if you don't want other colors. Go to the florist and ask to see them . Take a sample of the fabric with to show them. they know what flowers look good with what. That's part of their business.
and no with all that red white and blue it did not look patriotic. It was beautiful
Best wishes to you
Reply:Champagane and red
Reply:I would do cream flowers with a sapphire blue ribbon.
Reply:I had a champagne wedding dress too! I actually showed my florist the picture of it so he could recommend flowers to match my color (purple). A good florist can match and order flowers for anything! So I had ivory and purple flowers with a lot of ivy.
(Don't ask me what the flowers were, that was 12 years ago!)
Reply:get red and yellow roses
Reply:Many "white" flowers are actually a creamy white. I'd suggest booking an appointment with 2 or 3 different florists to see what will be in season and what their advice is. I loved the suggestion of the hydrangeas, but make sure they are in season. Picking flowers that are in season will not only be cost effective but will also help convey the season in your photographs. Don't fret over the champagne dress. You love it, run with it! It will look just fabulous with the sapphire blue! Good luck, sweetie %26amp; congratulations!!!!
Reply:yellow roses
Reply:yellow
Reply:Off cream (off white) roses they are beautiful and pick up the colors they are around, for a different look in the bouquets dainty twigs sprayed the Sapphire blue and coated in diamond dust ( at craft stores). The crystals are white in color will pick up the Sapphire blue. Good Luck
Reply:all red flowers, bright red
Reply:champagne with hints of the sapphire blue and 1 other accent color.
Reply:creamy hydrangeas and slate blue hydrangeas
plenty of flowers will compliment a champagne dress. and white won't make your dress look dingy. get some white flowers and hold it up to the material to help you decide.
white peonies are gorgeouse although I doubt you can get them in the winter.
I would use the blue hydrangeas as a base and add some other creamy toned flower in for contrast. Roses can be a creamy white rather than paper white. Start looking at flowers now to get inspiration. Go to your florist and ask to see photos from previous winter weddings they have done.
Hope this helps!
Reply:That's good you are getting married you should go with champagne and sapphire blue flowers.
Reply:you can get very colorful flowers, like pinks, reds, yellows, and whites. that way, your dress will stand out.
Reply:You can use cream colored flowers, or red, or a deep burgandy color.
Reply:I know what you are going through. It was very hard and fun planning my wedding last year. I had some great sites to help me out in my planning. When I found them I was thankful.
