What is this type of wine or champagne?

ok the bottle is black and the wrapper around the lid is gold.it has like white flowers engraved in the bottle(they sort of look like dogwood flowers) they wrap around the bottle like a vine.I have seen it alot on tv (like on the nanny,and it looks expensive) I would really like to know the name of it and maybe where i could find it at.

I know that Perrier Jouet Fleur de Champagne is in a green bottle with a gold top and has flowers on it and I believe they have made special editions on black bottles that were engraved.



It costs around $100 a bottle and most upscale liquor stores or wine shops will either carry it or be able to order it for you. Depending on where you are (and your age) you can order it on line from a number of internet wine shops. Some states do not allow alcohol to be sent from other states (archaic law)

As mentioned, it's Perrier Jouet - a French Champagne. It's about $100 a bottle, but you can find better bubbly for cheaper (Schramsberg J Schram for starters). The Fleur bottle is gorgeous and it's a fun 'treat' for yourself. : )
Reply:perrier-jouet. it's beautiful, both the wine and the bottle. the flowers are actually hand painted. the best vintage recent vintage is 1996, try to get your hands on one of those. it comes in a beautiful box with 2 hand-painted champagne flutes as well.

Very nice champagne from France. Check with a local wine store for availability. If you are willing to buy a case or two, they'll gladly order it in if they don't regularly stock it. However, if you live in a major enough city, chances are better than none that at least one wine store in your area will carry it. It is a bit on the expensive side but well worth it.
