These trees are all over my neighborhood on Long Island. They bloom with medium sized flowers that are usually white, off white, or light pink with a little dark pink in the middle. The petals seem to fall pretty quickly. Every tree that I see has the petals all over the ground underneathe it yet the tree still looks full. Does anyone know what tree this is? I can't figure it out!
White/light pink flowering tree?
Cherry trees are in bloom right now, white and light pink.
Reply:Hard to tell from your description but two possibilities are Flowering Pear or Dogwood.
Reply:Could be dogwood or flowering crabapple??
