Is it wrong to wear a white sundress (with pink accents) to a wedding shower?

Hi, I'm going to a wedding shower held at the bride's house and I have a white strapless sundress with pink embroidered flowers and a pink sash/tie. Is in inapropriate to wear a mostly white dress to the shower? or does this only apply to the wedding? The invitation didn't mention anything about attire.

No its not wrong. It sounds adorable!
Reply:That sounds cute, no its that you aren't suppose to wear a white dress to the wedding
Reply:It sounds like it would be okay. Don't sweat it.
Reply:It sounds cute, but I don't think I'd wear to the shower.Try a yellow tank top and shorts, unless its too cold, try jeans and a lavender shirt that has long sleeves.
Reply:It only applies to the wedding.
Reply:Sounds OK as long as it's not a white gown and the wedding sounds pretty casual.
Reply:No. You just can't wear it to the wedding.
Reply:No. but the outfit descibes what you'd wear to an outdoor party.
Reply:A shower doesn't follow the same etiquette as a wedding. It sounds like a perfectly appropriate outfit for a shower, assuming it's a warm day. Just don't wear it to the wedding. ;)
Reply:its ok just dont wear black underware
Reply:that sounds cute...dont worry about the white. im sure no one will think its a big deal!
Reply:It only applies to the wedding itself.
