When do I pick pull up my onions?

Last year I planted Vidalia onions but they didn't get big enough to harvest. They have come back again and now the stalks are thick with white flowers on. What should I do?

When do I pick pull up my onions?
I have always pulled my Onions when the flower at the top Blossoms and starts to dry out! I have had some big Onions! Good-Luck!
Reply:You need to bend the green part of the onion in half so that the growth goes to the onion and NOT to the plant. If you don't, you will have small onions. Do it now and then wait a few more weeks. You can google planting onions and read all about it.
