What is your all time favourite item of clothing and why?

I have a favourite dress which I have had for years and it should really go to that great charity shop in the sky, but I have so many happy memories of times when I have worn it that I am reluctant to part with it. (It is cotton, knee length, floaty, and is black with white flowers on it and is so comfy to wear).

What is your all time favourite item of clothing and why?
I have a dress that sticks in my mind .......it is fabulous and uber expensive ....



when i wear it i feel like a princess ....

Reply:I had a medium-long jacket for years. It was tan and brown. I called it the "all-around jacket" because it could be worn in spring or fall or on cool summer nights and warm winter days.

It had a collar, pockets and looked very good on me I felt. I had it for years; nothing else I've ever owned has ever been that comfortable nor useful.
Reply:I love my army pants! I bought them at the army-navy surplus store, and they are really broken in and comfy! They 're really baggy! I have had them for 10, yes 10 years,not really attractive, but I will wear them 'til they fall apart!

Reply:I love so much stuff that's a real toughie!!! Don't think I have one fave thing but I know what you mean. you keep stuff for ages and ages and however much new stuff you buy you still keep that one thing because its just so cosy!

Reply:Wow, it's sad that I don't yet have something that I've had forever, but no matter what I am always wearing a tank top under all my clothes. I have them in every color! There is one thing I keep though- my charm bracelet, but I don't usually wear it because it makes so much noise!
Reply:My cropped jackets. I have a lot of different styles and textures. You can dress them up with a cute halter, heels, and slacks. Or dress them down with jeans and a t-shirt. I love that they can let you wear your favorite strappy shirt in fall! Love them!

Reply:At the moment my pair of Diesel jeans are my faves. Why? Well, my boyfriend knows someone who works for Diesel and can get big discounts so he took me shopping. I was so excited. Then I found the jeans didn't go up to my size. I was very close crying in the shop. Afterwards I did cry and my boyfriend was wonderful and said I was beautiful and that they're stupid for not making my size. Which helped a lot but still, the experience didn't do much for my self esteem.



Cut to present, about a year later. It wasn't only because of the above but it probably was the final straw. I've lost nearly 10kg and about a dress size a half. I own a beautiful pair of Diesel jeans and they are fitting perfectly. Of course they are my favourites!



P.s. I do still think they should go up to larger sizes. Curvy girls can look great in well-designed denim.

Reply:I huv an old manky T.shirt with a big soppy dog on it. I wear it as my jammies. It reminds me of my best friend, Rags, who passed away a few years ago!!

Reply:I have an original Mary Quant 1960's mini dress. It is covered in silver sequins and weighs a ton. It is special because it belonged to my Mum. I also have the silver wedge shoes that she wore with it. I don't usually wear it but as they are all the rage again I wore it recently and everybody wanted to know where I got it. I don't think I will wear it again, it drew too much attention!!

1 - Black lined linen blazer - wonderful for work. Love it!

2 - Black viscose hooded top with kangaroo pockets (no zip) - bought this in 1999 and still works with everything. Also needs to be thrown out at some point... :-(

Reply:Jeans!!! I love jeans, I have lots and lots of jeans. They are my all time favourite item because you can dress them up or down. They are versatile. I love jeans.
Reply:My awesome purple Converse that i put a cool graphic design on. They're uniques and no one else has them!



I also love my Gap jeans that I got at a thrift store for $3. They are soooo comfy and soft and fit great.
Reply:I have a lucky San Antonio Spurs shirt that I wear during every game. The shirt is very faded. It's got holes in it. It has shrunk a bit. But it is very comfortable.
Reply:A t-shirt I bought on vacation in Maryland. It says Maryland across the front with a cute little crab. It's a simple block lettering logo, and it really does wonders for my chest. It's simple, comfy, soft and dark colored (my favorite!). I also have a t-shirt from when I was on my high school tennis team. It brings back all the memories of my meets and the team. Good times!
Reply:i love, love, love my rare @ top shop little black dress, it is sooo sexy yet sophisticated and stylish. it is knee length, made of silk with black velvet straps and a chain across the chest with black beads. i wear with my black velvet heels with black beads on and a black faux fur short sleeved shrug for when it gets chilly.
