Should I go with red shirt black tie or red shirt white tie?

I am getting married in late April. The colors of our wedding is red, black, and white. I am having the groomsman wear a red shirt, black pants, black shoes. I am definitely going with a solid tie color, but I don't know if I want to go with the black tie or white tie. The bridesmaids are wearing black skirt and red top, and white flowers. What do you all think?

Red shirt, black tie....seems more classy to me. Red shirt, white tie kind of reminds me of clowns for some reason, lol.
