Can you help me find the names of a couple of flowers?

Hi i've seen these little flowers that have been blooming around my neighbourhood and im dying to get some but i don't know what they are called. They kinda look like miniture tulips...they are so cute! I've seen them in white and yellow, im not sure if they come in any other colours. Are they a seed or a bulb? and do they come back every year?

There are also some other flowers that are in bloom right now and there tiny too. They kinda grow ontop of grass, i've seen them in a deep blue colour. Any ideas what that flower is called? Any where i can get them?

Thank you!:)

There are botanical tulips that bloom very early in the spring. They are very small. The lovely little blue ones in the grass are called "Scilla". They are invasive and spread very easily from the garden beds into the lawn.
Reply:Most spring flowers are bulbs. I am guessing the blue flower is a grape hyacinth.
Reply:What you call "little tulips" could be crocuses. Are you in the north? Are they pushing throw the snow? Maybe they are just that - miniature tulips.

The deep blue could be grape hyacinths. You need to describe them more.
Reply:You need to post a photo of these plants to get a positive ID- you can get minature tulips, so that could be what the first flower is....the blue ones could be violets (species Viola odorata) but again they could also be a lot of other things, maybe grape hyacinths? do a google image search for the plants i have listed and see if they match what you have seen, or better still photograph them and post the photo here.
