I'm getting married soon and need help with picking the colors of my flowers. The colors are Green/white.?

I think you were asking what contrast colors other than green and white would look good. You can use, ivory, whites, greenery such as hydrangeas, roses, lilies and babybreaths. or go for soft pink hues, (carnations, roses and a vast many other varieties). You can also use shades of orange and yellows depending on the shades of green and white you are using. Also very sparingly, you can use some light shades of blue. Take a swatch or two of your wedding colors to your florist and they can help you decide. Hope this helps.

Sure, I think they would look great. You can actually see some examples of this color combination at www.knot.com.

Look under greens for the real weddings. Good luck and have a beautiful wedding!

Reply:When I was married, my colors were green and white. I had white roses and hydrangea, and accented it with some baby's breath as well. My bouquet was all white and green hydrangea and big white roses. My bridesmaids carried hydrangea with some miniature pink roses, and a few wildflowers (like white daisies). Most of my arrangements were white/ivory colored.

If you have any other questions about getting ready for your wedding, feel free to e-mail me. I was married a year ago yesterday! Have a beautiful wedding, and an even more beautiful marriage. God bless.
Reply:Green hydrangias with some white petals. Check out barefoot contessa on the food tv. Here on the east cost, she is on every day at 5pm. She has a lot of green and white in her home / set and on various shows she decorates with green and white.
Reply:My wedding 15 years ago was green and white, my flowers were pink and white and each of my bridesmaids carried pink roses wrapped with ribbon at the ends they were not bouquets
Reply:Try a green hydrangea. They grow as rounded shrubs; The pH of the soil influences the color of the flower - acid soil produces blue flowers while alkaline soil produces pink flowers. They mean "Heartfelt" and are available in green during these times:

East during the Summer

East during the Fall

Midwest during the Summer

South during the Winter

South during the Fall

West during the Summer

West during the Fall

As for the white, I'd go with a Hyacinth, which means "Constancy". They have a strong scent and grow from bulbs. Hyacinths are available in the east during the spring.

I hope this was of some help to you. Good luck!
Reply:If you are wearing white, you can go with a white mix of flowers ~ roses, lillies, white hydrangeas. Then, I'm assuming your bridesmaids are in green.....have them go with the green hydrangeas, mixed with some other colors/flowers if you want. There are green roses! Check this link out:

My suggestion would be to go to your florist and look through their books. They have many, many books of different weddings that they have done. They can guide you and work within whatever budget you have.
Reply:go to a flower shop or garden center and get the flower book from holland there about £2.50 and it tells you all the flowers what colours they come in and at what season, it also has pictures of each flower, and there names! good luck (you don't always have to have flowers there are briliant things you can do with leaves, foliage wire and beads and if you get the right florist!!!
