I absolutely LOVE white Calla lillies, they look clean and fresh
My wedding dress is white and black. Bridemaids in black dresses, what color and type of flowers should I use?
colors
Reply:Red flowers may be too bold or well.. done many times.(esp at funerals sorry..) Orange flowers, birds of paradise would be the new 'red'. White too stark unless they are tipped with silver (or gold if thats your thing)
Blue ribbon against black is stunning and modern. Blue Hydranea (or pink actually) would be lovely. They last long. You could choose to have the groom wear a blue rose tipped with silver or a calla lily tipped or accentuated with blue. Blue of any shade works well with black and white. Then you have your something blue!
Forget me nots are lovely and full of meaning.
Gerber Daisy's in vibrant shades are very popular right now. You can go anywhere with this. The bridesmaids can each have a different vibrant colour of Gerbera. Maybe with a common ribbon to link them. Or just one colour
If you want a more elegant classy look. Think of champagne coloured roses. White, tan and black can be simple but stunning.
eucalyptus shades! This stunning shade of green is vibrant but not as in your face as the Gerbera.
Its hard to say without knowing your theme of wedding but hopefully this will help. Grab some black material and go to a florist to see flowers against the backdrop. There is a link below about black and white wedding themes.
Reply:Not sure about flowers but for inexpensive bridesmaid jewelry try http://www.glamforless.com/Jewelry.htm.
Reply:I would DEFINITLEY use red and white roses :] they are adorable..and make everything look just great! plus* it's great contrast..because your dress is white and black..and that will definitley make the colors stick out..and when you have the two colors-black and white together..and throw in a BOLD color such as red..it makes everything look just beautiful :]!
Reply:white roses.
Reply:you have to go bright contrast, red, white, orange, or something classy and simple.
