How do you make a black and white photo with 1 object in color on the computer?
easiest bet is photoshop. u would basically make 2 layers: the first being the original image (i'm assuming it's already colored) and the second being the flower.
-first open the image on photoshop.
-then select the flower using one of the lasso tools (the best for this situation would probably be "magnetic lasso tool")
-copy the selected area
-then paste the copied image (make sure you keep it on the exact same area as the original. photoshop will create another layer with the pasted image.
-select the original picture's layer (by default, it would be the background), then lower the 'saturation' of the image to 0. this would take away all the color and leave u with a b%26amp;w image.
-then u can just flatten the image to turn everything into one image.
Reply:Go to my pictures. Right click on the photo you are talking about. Point your mouse onto "Open With" and click on "Nova Developement Photo Explosion". Click on "edit" (at the top) and then click on "Effect". Then click on "Artist" and then on "Tint". Look at the left and select on with a black + white tint. Clcik on it then click "Apply". Hope this helps! Sami
Reply:use Adobe Photoshop. There is a tool there to make things black and white.
Reply:This is covered in one of Adobe's tutorials on the CD that comes with their Photoshop program. It is about a two page process with illustrations, so this forum may not be where you will get a complete and understandable answer. You might check on line and look for PS tutorials.
