I bought some jasmine flowers for tea but they don't smell or taste like jasmine?

I enjoy mixing tea ingredients together so I thought I'd buy some green and white teas and some jasmine flowers... but the jasmine flowers do not taste or smell like the Jasmine Green Tea I also have.

Is that normal?

Yes it is!!!

actually they are healthier but the smell is missed, generally "Jasmin green teas" have a lot of color, smell and flavor aids, just read the label. You can add a few rose buds to the Jasmin to give them a good smell and flavor
