Just as the lovely flowers are changing from lime green to white, I notice the leaves look like lace with all the holes in them. They are covered in tiny cataplillars. This is the 3rd year it has happened.
When and with what can I treat it with to cure the problem?
The tree is about 8 foot tall but has lots of new growth around the base. Should I cut the tree down and just leave the new growth. Or cut away all the new? Don't want to destroy it if I can help it.
My Viburnum opulus 'Sterile' tree looks healthy in the winter but not when it flowers?
You need to controll the catepillars before deciding to prune. Try a systemic pesticide.
